The world’s first subunit vaccine administered through drinking water.
BIOTECH VAC® SALMONELLA is an inactivated subunit vaccine administered orally and developed to protect poultry against the main Salmonella serotypes with an impact on food safety: Salmonella Typhimurium, Salmonella Heidelberg, Salmonella Enteritidis and Salmonella Infantis.
Coated with a natural polysaccharide, the protein subunit produced by Bacillus subtilis is protected as it passes through the gastrointestinal tract, helping ensure an effective immune response.
The result is dual immunity, both local at the intestinal mucosa and systemic, against multiple serotypes simultaneously.
Simple administration, with no stress to the flock and no risk to the handler.
Covers serogroups B, C and D, including S. Typhimurium, S. Heidelberg, S. Enteritidis and S. Infantis.
Non-live vaccine with demonstrated mucosal and systemic immunity.
Does not interfere with health monitoring and allows differentiation between infected and vaccinated animals.
Protective action for up to 110 weeks in long-cycle birds.
Salmonella spp. subunit (produced by Bacillus subtilis), excipients and adjuvants.
